About SierraMadreListens.org

SierraMadreListens.org is a platform created by the City of Sierra Madre to hear directly from residents affected by the Eaton Fire of 2025. This site is part of our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in how we respond to emergencies.

Your feedback will help inform the After Action Report and Improvement Plan (AAR/IP)—a document that evaluates how the City and partner agencies responded to the fire. The insights we gather will guide future emergency planning, communication strategies, and evacuation operations.

Why This Site Exists

The best lessons come from the people who lived through the experience. We want to understand:

  • What worked well during the fire response
  • What could have been done better
  • How communication, evacuation, and emergency support felt to you as a resident

What Happens with Your Input?

  •  Your experiences will be reviewed by emergency planners and city leaders
  •  Themes and insights will be summarized in the official AAR/IP
  • Your voice will shape how we respond in future wildfires and emergencies.

Want to Get Involved?
